ISO TANK

ISO TANK

ISO tank (tank container) is an international standard pressure vessel made of stainless steel installed within a sturdy external frame. The inner tank is mostly made of 316L stainless steel. Many tanks are equipped with steam or electric heating devices, inert gas protection, pressure relief devices, and other optional equipment necessary for fluid transport and loading/unloading. The tank is surrounded by corner supports and lifting frames for protection and hoisting purposes. The external dimensions of the tank container frame are identical to those of an international standard 20-foot shipping container. It can be used for road, rail, and sea transportation. It can load up to 14,300 to 31,000 liters (or even larger) of liquid cargo.

Advantages

In addition to all the advantages of containerized transportation, compared to the transportation method of ‘several barrels loaded into a standard dry cargo container,’ it offers many advantages such as cost-effectiveness, speed, safety, environmental friendliness, and aesthetic appeal.
